Entire industries have come to a complete standstill. Even big global companies are buckling under the pressure. We find ourselves in such uncertain times during the COVID-19 Pandemic. And perhaps the most hard-hit is at a local level with so many small businesses forced to shut down, or keep going while trying to ride out the wave of uncertainty.
It’s hard to believe how much the world has changed in the past few months - and how much our lives have been turned upside down.
So many of my family, friends, clients and work colleagues had so much to look forward to in 2020. The birth of babies, weddings, holidays + honeymoons. Stepping out of comfort zones by starting up businesses and uni degrees.
For the Gippsland region where I call home, we were already going through a tough time to say the least… Three years of drought and a horror bush fire season that left hundreds without homes and livelihoods.
I know life is tough for so many of us right now. Especially if you work for yourself and run a small business. So many industries have been impacted by this Global Pandemic and the subsequent social distancing restrictions.
However, it seems there’s light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. Social restrictions will start to ease here in Australia over the next few weeks and months. Life is starting to change again - not as we once knew it, but as a new kind of “normal”.
It’s going to be a strange + challenging time for many of us in business. And Clarity Collaborations is here to help + support you. I hope this series of tools, tips + tricks - the A-Z of being in business during a Global Pandemic - provides some comfort as we navigate this new kind of “normal”. Starting this week, the series will be released over the next few months as a way to support small businesses, and give them the clarity + confidence to get through to the other side.
And remember...
"Clarity is power". The clearer you are about what you want, the more likely you are to achieve it. Don't just survive - thrive!
Clarity Collaborations is here to help businesses change how they communicate with their customers + clients. And it all starts with clear + concise words and creative design.
